It is obtained from dried ripe flax seeds, added with dryers and heated. It is ideal for protecting outdoor wooden window frames and doors against weather and salty air, for the maintenance of terracotta floor tiles and as a thinner for anti rust coatings. It is also used in arts & crafts and to produce and dilute oil colours.
